Welcome & Orientation Week (WOW) Events and Activities Group
3 sessions available from August 14, 2026 to August 28, 2026
Hello Incoming Engineering Graduate Students,
The Office of the Associate Dean for Graduate and Professional Education (ADGPE) will host our Welcome Session on Friday, August 28th from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM Eastern Standard Time with the College of Engineering Dean, Liu and Associate Dean of Graduate and Professional Education, Krista Wigginton. We will have an in-person option with limited spots and a virtual stream option!
We also invite you to complete the Graduate Student Resource Needs Survey for New College of Engineering Graduate Students. Your feedback will help the Office of the Associate Dean for Graduate & Professional Education (ADGPE) better understand what incoming graduate students need and where we can improve our support.
The survey takes approximately 15 minutes, and all responses are anonymous and confidential.
Most importantly, this is an opportunity to tell us what you need. Whether it is academic support, professional development, community building, navigating graduate school, or something we have not yet considered, we want to hear from you.

Due Monday, October 5th, 2025
Thank you for helping us build a stronger and more supportive graduate student experience for you and your peers.
Best,
Office of the Associate Dean for Graduate & Professional Education (ADGPE)
