Honors Reads: Dec. 3, 2019

Certainly you are reading for your classes, but how often do you have time to read for pleasure and relaxation without worrying about grades or deadlines? Want to be able to engage in conversation about current literature, outside the academic? Join other Honors community members who love to read for pleasure. The group selects NYT Bestsellers for fall and winter terms, and one summer read. Then, we gather after-hours in the Honors Office for an informal discussion.

This is an Honors Program sponsored event and Honors students at all levels are welcome and encouraged to attend.

If you joined Honors in 2017 or later, you will have the opportunity to earn one engagement point towards the Sophomore Honors Award if you attend and participate in at least 3 Honors Reads meetings before the end of you sophomore year.

Please do not sign up if you do not plan to attend. A limited number of copies of the selected book are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registered students may stop by the Honors office (1330 Mason Hall) to pick up a free copy if one is still available.
